SUNY ERIE DEPARTMENT OF CONTINUING EDUCATION SUNY Erie Department of Continuing Education is excited to introduce our Full Stack Web Development Course Series. This intensive 12-week, two course bundle is offered through the SUNY Erie Web Tech Academy and is designed to train individuals for entry level career positions in website development. NO PREVIOUS PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! This course is open to anyone, but for eligible unemployed individuals, the course may be 100% TUITION FREE! This is also an excellent opportunity for employed individuals to quickly train for a better job, or for individuals considering a career change. Successful graduates are prepared to sit for the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exam and will also earn a SUNY Erie digital badge. Web development is a highly paid and in-demand skill set needed by every type of business in our digital business environment. At program registration, students choose a concentration in either Front End Development (Bundle A), or Back End Development (Bundle B). Students will become proficient with many common tools used in the industry today, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, mySQL, and WordPress. The course will be delivered in a hybrid format with the majority of content delivered online. Some of the lectures and all of the labs will be done in the evenings online in real-time using Zoom teleconferencing software.
