Summary:
Promotes and maintains a positive service culture.
Performs a variety of duties to include serving meals to patients and visitors in a professional and efficient manner.
Informs patients of meal and menu practices and obtains meal preferences and selections, if applicable.
Replenishes floor stock items in nursing unit pantries and delivers enteral formulas for patients to nursing units.
Performs other tasks as related to patient meal service as assigned.
Adheres to safe food handling procedures.
Adheres to the Values in Practice initiatives.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATIONHigh School Graduate or GEDEXPERIENCEHospital or Healthcare experience preferredOne (1) year experience in food service operation preferredOne (1) year experience in customer service preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITYAbility to read and write English:
