Summary:
The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Certified Educator develops curriculum, conducts and selects students for all levels of CPE program (Level I, II and Certified Educator Candidate (CEC) under the standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).
Virtually supervises students' clinical work, provides educational opportunities and evaluates students.
Engages in on-going practice of Clinical Supervision of Level I/Level II CPE, CEC as well as Residents.
Educates Certified Educator Candidate and oversees their progress in supervising Level I/Level II students.
As a member of the supervisory team, participates in the planning of the overall training program as developed by the CPE Director and Vice President Mission Integration.
Collaborate with the Director of CPE to develop the specific schedule, orientation, clinical assignments, and individual curriculum planning necessary for a successful CPE unit.
Participates virtually in at least one ACPE Community of Practice CPE peer group.
The Educator also actively and personally engages in on-going practice of Clinical Chaplaincy as a basis for educational practice.
This position may be filled as a virtual position or an On-Site position
Responsibilities:
EDUCATIONMaster's Level Degree in Theology or related field is required.
Certification as an ACPE Certified Educator for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) is required.
Certified (or eligible for certification) as Board Certified Chaplain by either the National Association of Catholic Chaplains or the Association of Profession Chaplains required.
Ordained or commissioned by one's faith group or denomination.
Denominational endorsement required.
EXPERIENCEThree years of experience in supervising and teaching CPE students and residents required.
Experience working with multicultural and diverse religious backgrounds is highly desirable.
Previous experience conducting supervisory education programs preferred.
FOR VIRTUAL POSITION:
Experience in remote CPE supervision/training is required Physical presence at SOCH for at least three times during the course of the unit supervised is preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Skills in crisis intervention.
Basic skill in computer hardware and software; Microsoft word, Excel, Power point, Outlook Access Excel.
Ability to provide pastoral care and spiritual support in a high stress environment.
Skills in pastoral research and spiritual assessment.
Ability to analyze data for performance improvement activities.
Understands the importance of working as a team both within and outside the department.
Cooperative relationship with persons of varying faith traditions or of no tradition.
Knowledge of and support for the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health FacilitiesStrong spiritual maturity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements appropriate for the position.
Ability to maintain professional and personal confidentiality and HIPAA Regulations.
Ability to be assertive yet flexible.
Strong Management skills.
Ability to exercise the authority of the position and to delegate as needed.
Ability to implement the institution's mission and philosophy as it relates to chaplaincy.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
