Experience:
To qualify at grade level GS-07, one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in federal or other service is required. Specialized experience is defined as that experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Specialized experience would include the following
Experience:
1. Work that involves routing correspondence to appropriate personnel; 2. Utilizing automated data processing programs such as:
word processing software, spreadsheet software to prepare reports, and database software; 3. Assist with personnel administration functions (i.e., Time an Leave Administration, Appointments, Terminations, Details, and Retirement actions). and 4. Administering supplies and equipment for an office. There is no provision for substitution of education for experience at grade GS-7. Note:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience that you document, including volunteer experience. Note:
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours per week spent in such employment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
