IT Manufacturing Support Lead
The Role
IT Manufacturing Support Lead Tesla, Inc. is hiring this critical role for our Buffalo, NY manufacturing site, Gigafactory 2.
Responsibilities
Provide support at Tesla Gigafactory 2 Manufacturing location.
Work with other IT teams on troubleshooting and resolution of all IT MFG Hardware issues.
Ability to identify the cause of line down situations.
Responsible for attending all IT outage calls & Confirming and Ensuring that MFG is running again.
Work with other IT teams to resolve any issue.
Involved in more complex and larger scale projects (global initiatives).
Responsible for owning all projects for Gigafactory 2.
Responsible for keeping contact list for all MFG functions and lines.
Accept assignments and tasks from senior leadership.
Willing and able to work overtime, weekend and after hours along with an on call rotation.
Requirements
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in desktop support.
Evidence of exceptional ability.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Effectively build and manage cross-functional relationships.
Excellent attention to detail with excellent follow-up.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to exercise independent judgement consistent with department guidelines/standards.
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to meet established timeframes.
