Opportunity:
Manage the financial analysis activities that support a major segment of the Bank, major bank-wide functions or projects. Provide financial updates and reporting to senior management. Participate in the analysis and provide guidance on investment and project decisions.
Responsibilities:
Direct the day-to-day operations and projects relating to the overall bank or business segment financial status. Provide key financial analyses and management reporting by managing various monthly reporting processes, reviewing data, resolving problems, and presenting data to senior management. Oversee ad hoc reporting such as acquisition analyses, cash flow projections, etc. to support management decisions. Participate in the development and implementation of Finance department goals. Communicate and provide direction with senior management regarding fiscal policies. Exercise managerial authority over staff with respect to hiring, termination, salary recommendations, and performance appraisals.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or the equivalent in work experience. Five to seven years finance experience. One to two years supervisory experience.
Ideal Qualifications Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
Technical Skills
Excellent personal computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and other departmental software/systems.
Other Job Information
Strong understanding of financial concepts/theory and how it relates to profitability reporting. Knowledge of project management concepts and application.
