Position
Summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for multipleproduction cells and manages their daily manufacturing operations. Directs ateam of approximately 30 team members including team leads, hourly Brady fulltime employees, and an hourly contract workforce depending on workload.Directly responsible for the team's daily safety, operational success, andmeeting expectations for the quality and delivery targets of numerous productlines. Plans the development of operators, identifies and eliminates knowledgeand skill gaps, strengthens overall team ability and redundancy. Leads and supports structured problem solvingactivities that improve the long-term efficiency and robustness of operations.Coordinates decision making in conjunction with a raw material buyer,production planner, and manufacturing engineer. Communicates effectively withboth sales and external customers; able to interpret specialized customer needsand support providing a suitable solution. The ideal candidate is resultsdriven and is well suited for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentwhere customer order volume and specifications continuously change.
PositionRequirements:
Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) degree from a four yearcollege in industrial or manufacturing engineering, supply chain, logistics, orsimilar related degree
3-5 years of manufacturing operations experiencepreferred; internship experience or Co-Op college partnership will beconsidered
Proficient in MS Office Suite (intermediate to advancedExcel required)
Ability to access and process ERP system data:retrieval, manipulation, and analysis of data for metric reporting and problemsolving
Experience in driving improvements, processoptimization, lean manufacturing events and procedure development
Proven track record investigating and addressingcustomer complaints
Ability to solve urgent and chronic problems, bothindividually and as part of cross-functional teams
Position Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for safety, health, andenvironmental compliance for assigned departments
Manages team activity to achieve the Customer Service,Quality and Cost Savings goals of the team
Trained in the proper procedures for departments, andcan become subject matter expert to achieve trainer-level
Responsible for the output of quality materials andmeeting expectations of both internal and external customers
Uses first hand customer information for improvement inservices, talks and acts with the customer in mind
Supports design and manufacture of customized orspecialty products to meet customer needs
Effectively leads and develops the team andcommunicates expectations at all levels of the organization
Collaborates with supervisors to ensure effectiveutilization of our employees, inventory, and equipment
Objectively evaluates processes for non-value addedactivity and eliminates waste
Assists in keeping inventory levels minimized whilemaintaining service levels to our customer
Helps lead and drive both the use of technology andprocess innovation within the team
Develops the skills of team members, helps createcompelling development plans and executes them
Facilitates and fosters teamwork within the team andacross teams at the site
Executes failure analysis, corrective actions fornoncompliance/customer complaints, communicates fixes across teams
Handles HR for employee accountability, discipline,documentation and warnings; rewards the right values and disapproves of others
Responsible for performance evaluations and ratings ofdirect reports
Creates strong morale and spirit with the team andacross team and site
Manages all associates equitably; supports equal andfair treatment and opportunity for all

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
