Quality Assurance Specialist
Rodgard Division of Hutchinson Industries is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the company's quality management system in accordance with ISO-9001 standards and customer specific requirements resulting in total customer satisfaction.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Manage, track, and resolve customer complaints including direct communication with the customer to assure timely resolution.
o Manage customer returns process including tracking of returns, corrective actions and metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
o Control of non-conforming, preventative, and effective corrective action process.
o Identify, Investigate, and report quality issues and direct preventative and corrective action efforts.
o Maintain an effective document and record retention program (NCR, CAR, COC)
o Develop and maintain a documented internal audit program.
o Execute and maintain a documented calibration program for all process and inspection equipment
o Maintain the ISO Documentation System.
o Create, collect and report Quality Metrics for management review meetings
o Participate in the Engineering change notice (ECN) & Material Review Board (MRB) process.
o Assist purchasing and engineering in vendor selection and review vendor performance on a regular basis.
o Collaborate with engineering and production departments to determine quality requirements for new and existing products

Requirements:
o 2 Year degree in technical discipline, 4 year degree preferred.
o 5 years Quality experience implementing and improving quality systems within a manufacturing environment
o 5 years experience within an certified ISO system
o Ability to read engineering drawings and inspect critical requirements (GD&T, PPAP, PFMEA experience preferred)
o Proficient use Microsoft Office products
o Skilled in writing reports
o General knowledge and understanding of Lean 5S & 6 Sigma concepts preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
