Job Description:
Experienced Production Manager is required having responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of production personnel and processes.
Responsibility:
This position coordinates the execution of production schedules against sales forecast and plant capacity. Direction to department supervisors along with interaction among support groups is necessary. Manager is responsible for compliance with applicable cGMPs, regulatory requirements and company SOPs and policies.
Development and participation in meeting production and corporate objectives while achieving cost and quality goals is necessary. Delegation and direction to subordinates while coordinating defined responsibilities is a critical part of this role.
Additionally, this position develops direct reports through interactive coaching, feedback and establishment of relevant objectives while improving employee morale and work/life balance.
Areas of responsibility include but may not be limited to: formulation, component preparation, aseptic and terminally sterilized filling, capping and lyophilization.
Required Skills:
BS degree in life sciences or engineering discipline
Appropriate years of progressive leadership experience in related roles could be substituted for the education requirement
3 5 years in FDA regulated environment or equivalent.
