Sec Processing Rep 3

Responsibilities will include the timely affirmation, confirmation, investigation, handling, and resolution of Corporate and Investor Fund client FX transactions.
The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and be comfortable making high level decisions.
The candidate will need to effectively interact with the front office, operations, relationship managers and external clients.
A Securities Processing Rep 3 is expected to be able to:
o Support incoming transaction functions including identification of client facing deal, confirming all deal financials and details are matched, raising any descrepancies, and initiating payments/journal entries o Handle outgoing payment functions including identifying client payment delays using product processor systems; investigate the root cause behind the delay; issue queries internally and externally; follow up until transaction is paid / settled o Manage aging and deal queue o Understand and anticipate client settlement trends and tendencies o Maintain up to date and accurate audit trails for all transactions o Prepare, analyze, and present findings for business, client and ad hoc reportsQualificationso Ability to function effectively in a high-volume dynamic environment o Very detail-oriented o Ability to meet a daily deadline o Ability to work in a collaborative team environment o Flexible/sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task o Must have a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and must be PC literate o Good oral and written communications skills o Knowledge of SWIFT Payments/Receipts (eg.
MT202, MT103, MT 300 MT199) o Knowledge and experience in International and Domestic Payment systems and formats is a definite plus o Knowledge and experience in the Foreign Exchange business or other Financial Markets products is a definite plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
