Production Manager - 2nd Shift

Our client is a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer. Due to growth, we are searching for a Shift Production Manager for the 2nd Shift (1-11pm) responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of production personnel and processes. This is a very fast paced environment. Areas of responsibility include but may not be limited to:
formulation, component preparation, aseptic and terminally sterilized filling, capping and lyophilization.
This position coordinates the execution of production schedules against sales forecast and plant capacity. Direction to department supervisors along with interaction among support groups is necessary. Manager is responsible for compliance with applicable cGMP's, regulatory requirements and company SOP's and policies.

Development and participation in meeting production and corporate objectives while achieving cost and quality goals is necessary. Delegation and direction to subordinates while coordinating defined responsibilities is a critical part of this role.

Additionally, this position develops direct reports through interactive coaching, feedback and establishment of relevant objectives while improving employee morale and work/life balance.
REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in life sciences or engineering discipline
Appropriate years of progressive leadership experience in related roles could be substituted for the education requirement
3 - 5 years in FDA regulated environment or equivalent.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
