Production Supervisor - Shift Manager
Our client is a global manufacturer of life-saving pharmaceutical products, seeking a Production Supervisor - Shift Manager for their second shift operations. The Production Supervisor - Shift Manager will be responsible for overall management of the second shift operations. Areas of responsibility may include formulation, component preparation, aseptic and terminally sterilized filling, capping and lyphoilization. The Production Manager coordinates and executes the production schedules against sales forecast and plant capacity. The Production Manager is responsible for compliance with applicable cGMP's, regulatory requirements and company SOP's and policies.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all production activities for the assigned business segment
Fills in for Sr. Manager of Manufacturing in their absence
Responsible for all quality, regulatory, and safety requirements as defined
Develops direct reports through coaching, feedback and establishment of relevant objectives while improving employee morale and work/life balance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, strong preference for a life science or engineering degree
3-5 years of production experience in an FDA environment, pharmaceutical preferred
Demonstrated leadership skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
