HR Administrator

Seeking a HR Administrator with at least one year experience in Human Resource. This is a permanent placement opportunity for a manufacturing company located in Amherst, NY. Pay rate is $14-16/hr. DOE
This position will be working at the Front Desk of an office, performing both Front Desk and HR oriented tasks. This is a light traffic office and majority of the tasks are HR oriented.

TASKS:
o Operate multi-line switchboard. Answers and directs incoming telephone calls.
o Prepare and distribute all employee communications. Administration of plasma screen communications system.
o Administer conference room reservation schedule.
o Scheduling of employee meetings.
o Prepares various correspondence including offer letters, rejection letters, VOE's, etc.
o Prepares announcements on miscellaneous employee related events such as new hires, terminations, births and bereavements.
o Maintains bulletin boards at all locations
o Assist in updating and maintaining data in attendance system.
o Update and maintain database of employee training (internal and external).
o Issues door access cards to both temporary and permanent employees; deactivates cards for terminated staff.
o Prepares advertisements and internal job postings.
o Posts jobs, schedules interviews and completes job offers for open positions.
o Primary contact for employment agencies; contacts agencies for temporary staffing needs and handles inquires.
o Prepares termination paperwork and completes checklist for terminated employees.
o Files documents and maintains personnel and medical files.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Well-developed organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated maturity, professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
A self-starter, detail oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
ADP payroll and/or HRIS experience preferred.
Receptionist, switchboard, customer service, business administration and HR experience, preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
