SUMMARY
The Commercial/Industrial painter is responsible for coating and painting large structural steel assemblies for dam and hydro projects, and custom steel fabrication
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Apply protective coatings to large industrial structures
o Use proper protective equipment
o Comply with safe painting practices and environmental standards (per EPA and OSHA regulations)
o Utilize a variety of spraying devices - airless and air powered paint sprayers
o Follow SSPC painting practices
o Estimate time and quantity of materials required
o Apply high-build epoxies according to project specifications
o Utilize NDE testing equipment (thickness gauge, holiday testing equipment, wet-film thickness gauge etc.)
o Coordinate with shop foreman for space requirements of dry time and materials lay out
o Maintain clean and organized equipment and paint booth (i.e. sprayer equipment, and application tools - brushes)
o Assess issues with surface preparation, such as anchor pattern and blasting issues
o Assist in identifying welds and excessive splatter to be repaired
OTHER JOB DUTIES
Other duties and/or projects as assigned by a member of the Management Team
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
o Must be able to pass various paint tests (i.e. uniform application test)
o Able to estimate time and quantities of materials required
o Able to apply high-build epoxies according to project specifications
o Able to manage multiple projects at once
o Able to work from scaffolding
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
