Application Support Analyst, Buffalo NY

The Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting technology and application projects for the Executive Services group at Citi and will serve as an application administrator for several event management and employee services applications.
The role facilitates alignment of the applications support infrastructure with focused on technologies and processes including user acceptance testing and platform rollouts.
The individual will serve as liaison between CADAM staff, technology managers, relationship managers, vendors and internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
o Support multiple technology and application related projects.
o Collaborate with a team of application support personnel and web developers o Assist in developing project plans, timelines, cost estimates, assembling project teams, setting and leading project management calls, track deliverables, developing project reports, communications and updates, etc.
o Primary point of contact for support and development of internal and third party support applications o Coordinate with internal and external providers, establish data feeds, ensure data quality, etc.
o Run system generated reports and analyze and manipulate data o Conduct training sessions in support of new and existing processes and technology o Must be comfortable attending global conference calls, sometimes at off hours in support of global partners in different time zones o Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for new application users o Monitor and escalate any issues relating to applications o Provide all level of customer supports for applications (phone/email) o Conduct yearly COB testing for all applications o Level 1 responder and manager in support of systems issues and malfunctions o Oversee quality control:
ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with system and company standardsQualificationso Ability to work virtually and with a global team in multiple time zones o 2 years' experience supporting projects for financial services, customer service or in the hospitality industry o Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills including Access and Project.
Expertise in Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint are a must.
o Strong familiarity and experience with technology development and lifecycles.
o Good understanding of technology and project management methodologies and principles.
o Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
o Experience with producing and distributing publicly facing materials.
o Excellent communications and customer service skills.
o Ability to explain complex technology issues and concerns in non-technical ways.
o Strong client focus and ability to step outside regular job functions and comfort zone to assist the global team.
o Bachelors in Information Technology, Operations or Business preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
