This position in located in Cheektowaga, NY which is 15 miles from Buffalo, NY.
MOLD MAKER: Associate will be responsible for performing any combination of the following: cleans, maintains, and repairs all injection molds; communicates old and quality related problems to other technical staff; and troubleshoots mold issues in the press to ensure efficient and safe operation and generation of parts that consistently meet quality requirements. This associate is expected to adhere to all, plant, quality, safety and documentation.
ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Clean injection molds.
o Install/fit replacement components as needed.
o Perform precision machining of mold components as well as other related production equipment.
o Troubleshoot mold issues in shop as well as molds in molding presses.
o Analyze data such as quality dimensional sheets, reading mold prints, and interpreting past work performed as found on tool work orders.
o Keep accurate records and maintenance logs.
o Clean equipment and work area to set standards established in BOP's.
o Communicate effectively conditions related to quality, safety, on the job injuries or illnesses, and technical problems to assure their timely resolution.
o Perform process steps, maintain housekeeping and appropriate behaviors for maintenance of the clean room environment.
o This position will be required to do other related duties essential to these operations or special assignments.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
o High School Diploma/GED required and certification from an approved apprentice program. Two (2) years' experience in an injection molding facility or mold fabrication shop, detailed knowledge of injection molds, design theory, mold construction, and the ability to operate complex machinery and use complex gauges (experience will include working within tolerances of
+/-.0005), knowledgeable in mathematics through trigonometry and formulas, ability to comprehend and respond to verbal and written instructions/plant documents and postings, good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
o Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate the English language in a proficient manner.
COMPUTER SKILL:
o Good understanding and ability to perform tasks and create documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
MATH SKILLS:
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and perform advanced mathematical functions using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in both English and Metric Systems required. Compute rate, ration, percent and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to regularly lift 35 lbs. from floor to workbench level, stand/walk 10 to 12/hours per day, ability to maintain concentration while performing repetitive task, ability to work independently or in groups effectively, ability to work overtime as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
o While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving parts. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually loud.
2 Shifts Available : 1st Shift, 6 AM-6 PM AND 6 PM-6 AM
(12 hr. shifts; 4 days on; 4 days off)
$25/hour to start (depending on experience)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
