Maintenance Supervisor: Precision, Cutting-Edge Manufacturing
Location: Buffalo, NY (Southern Tier)
General Overview:
Plan, organize, and manage all aspects related to the procurement and maintenance of equipment and facilities at the plant location.
The position is responsible for the design, planning, procurement, and maintenance of all devises and facilities at the Plant. Incumbent must make optimum use of material, machinery, and manpower in an environment which has many variables and changes that are sometimes difficult to anticipate.
Description:
Provide guidance and direction to line mechanics to accomplish required repair/support activities during shift supervised
Supervise all aspects of maintenance on all plant equipment and facilities.
Train maintenance personnel in proper operation and maintenance of equipment
Design and implement written preventative maintenance procedures
Plan details of working procedures to determine material or replacement needs
Select logical approach to trouble shooting and repair problems.
Maintains performance and maintenance records
Maintains spare parts inventory
Manage all preventative and corrective maintenance work, ensuring that all parts, documentation, or other logistical arrangements are obtained or made to ensure efficient use of labor resources and minimal production impact
Direct hourly maintenance associates in their roles and responsibilities to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service
Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting / problem solving activities and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
Continuously apply sound mechanical and electrical solutions to resolve obstacles to plant efficiencies and to drive continuous improvement
Promote company commitment to Safety as well as all EEO/AAP initiatives.
Perform all other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications:

years Supervisory / Management experience
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a precision manufacturing environment
Minimum Education - High School diploma or equivalent
