Major Purpose:
The Senior Data Usage Analyst will facilitate the use of First Niagara''s data resources across all business lines. He/she will have responsibility for maintaining the data dictionary, advising and coaching users on where to find data and how to access it, administering access requests to the EDW and other data repositories, maintaining reference tables and data hierarchies, providing training materials and advice for supported BI software and organizing and maintaining all documentation related to data management.
Major Functions:
Maintain and improve the data dictionary. Advise and coach business analysts throughout the bank.
Develop and deliver training programs with respect to usage of the data warehouse and other data resources.
Maintain reference tables and hierarchies for the data warehouse
Maintain all documentation related to the data management function
Administer access permissions for the enterprise data warehouse and other data sources.
