Most sales reps don't breathe fire. And that 's not the only thing they _don't_ do.
They don't have the courage to stand up for project quality. They don't hold firm on the value of pricing. And they don't stay fully engaged with the client after the deal is sealed.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for all activities relating to leading the Sales organization, conceptualizing and implementing the sales strategy, and achieving sales targets. Additional responsibilities also include:
Serves as the sales leader of the company, providing support in the development of the corporate sales strategy and management plan.
Leads the Sales organization by focusing efforts on recruiting top talent, providing sales motivation, coaching and driving accountability for sales results.
Communicates and leads sales forecasting and pipeline development.
Responsible for achieving overall revenue targets based upon existing solutions and pricing/margin guidelines.
Directs the implementation and execution of Sales' policies and practices.
Drives the "everyone sells" initiative with Subject Matter Experts and Leadership team members.
Oversees and directs competitor analysis and research.
Oversees proposal development, contract generation and execution.
Collaborates in the development and integration of the annual marketing plan in support of organizational strategy and revenue objectives.
Solicits Voice of Customer and brings this information to the Leadership Team as needed to facilitate strategic planning.
Proven and verifiable track record of leading sales teams to meeting and exceeding revenue, margin and pricing goals selling complex technical services to enterprise accounts.
10+ years relevant sales and sales leadership experience in IT services or closely related field. Especially with an annuity business model.
Implements a (repeatable) daily motivation, coaching and accountability model that can be demonstrated. Inclusive of metrics and practices you can demonstrate.
Has created, implemented, and executed documented sales plans inclusive of markets, targeted clients, sales strategy, sales tactics and forecasting. Sales plans are integrated with marketing plans.
Has created, implemented and executed documented major account plans resulting in expanding sales in existing accounts.
History of forecasting accuracy (projected close dates, revenue estimates and solution offerings).
Has a clear and repeatable approach to leading sales meetings with a focus on deal strategy and pipeline progression.
Has a predictable and effective hiring and on boarding/training model for attracting and retaining top sales talent.
Demonstrates effective performance management and corrective action with sales teams.
Follows and manages sales teams following a structured selling process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
