Customs Compliance Specialist

Mandate:
Reporting to the department Manager, the Customs Compliance Specialist will be responsible for advisory services in various areas of US Customs compliance.
The candidate will have a strong working knowledge of US import regulations, tariff classification skill set, and Free Trade Agreements with a high attention to detail.
Requirements:
Provide assistance and advisory services for clients, which includes but is not limited to the following items:
HTS classification, FTA analysis, customs valuation, partner government agency requirements, invoice requirements, customs verification, ADD/CVD, application of customs rulings, and more.
College Degree in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred Manage incoming emails for Customs Advisory Services by logging them to the appropriate staff and responding to level-appropriate inquiries directly.
Product database maintenance.
Running reports (Client Activity, volumes, requests) Proficiency in MS Office What You Offer:
US Customs Brokerage License an asset Experience in CargoWise One system or related brokerage systems is an asset Experience with and understanding of US Customs Regulations Experience with partner government agency rules and regulations for US import CCS designation is an asset What We Offer:
