00PM K-8 and High School Positions available Cafeteria/Hall Monitor Job Description/Duties JOB DESCRIPTION The cafeteria and hallway monitor is responsible for the supervision of students in both the hallway and the cafeteria.
The primary goal is to ensure that our students are safe.
Please be sure students are not in hallways without permission, at other students lockers, spending excessive time in the restrooms.
Additionally, the position will require light cleaning and some light lifting.
You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
DUTIES 1.
Be at your post during assigned times.
2.
Ensure students are using hall pass system appropriately.
3.
Keep students at any appropriate voice level and orderly while in hallway, especially during passing times.
4.
Report inappropriate behavior to classroom teacher, staff member that issued pass, and administration.
5.
Keep cafetaria in orderly manner, clean up tables and floors.
6.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Principal and his or her designee.
