SHORT BIO:
Transit Valley Country Club is a premier family-oriented, private member-owned, facility located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York.
Transit Valley started with humble beginnings and has become one of the finest golf courses in New York State.
The Club was established in August 1921 when nine men met to plan a new country club in Western New York.
Today, the TVCC is a family-driven club offering an excellent social programming schedule, kid's camp, swim/tennis/golf teams, and sport camps.
What is new? Transit Valley has completed a multi-phase renovation project in April 2021.
Phase I of the Project included:
A new kitchen, pizza bump-out with a pizza oven, new lobby restrooms and a complete renovation of the Women's Locker room.
Phase II of the Project included:
A new indoor/outdoor 25 seat bar, two golf simulators with a lounge, patio, and fire pit, renovated Men's Locker with the addition of a bar and card room, upgrading of our casual and formal dining rooms.
Amenities:
Transit Valley's clubhouse offers multiple picturesque dining options that provide fantastic panoramic views of the golf course and features meeting and banquet facilities.
Additional amenities include a recreational zone with tennis courts, four pickle ball courts, basketball and in-line hockey, junior-size Olympic pool, kids' club, and men's and women's locker rooms.
The high-ranked golf practice facility includes twenty hitting stations and five target areas along with a newly constructed short game practice area.
The Club has a very active golf membership of 330 and 435 total members.
Approximately 20,000 rounds of golf per year through member and guest play, along with 12 outside charity/corporate events.

The Director of Food and Beverage will be responsible for all Front-of-House staff and Catering and Events Manager overseeing the Food and Beverage Operation.
Transit Valley Country Club is looking for a high energy, positive attitude individual who likes to be challenged and can get the team behind this individual.
Additionally, the club is looking for a candidate who is a visionary, loves driving innovation, is never satisfied with status-quo and strives for service excellence.
The Food & Beverage Director reports to the Assistant General Manager.
Requirements:
Key areas of responsibility include:
Living the club's Vision and Mission statement as part of the Strategic Plan and maintain an excellent culture.
Providing a high level of consistent service to members and their guests Overseeing Food & Beverage Operations, cost controls, inventory management Overseeing Front of House responsibilities and procedures of Club's Halfway House Reinvent highly interactive training program.
Hiring, training, supervising, and developing staff Monitoring and Updating POS software - Northstar Applications Works closely with Executive Chef to drive innovation for both food and wine menus.
Friendly - Friendly - Friendly - TVCC has a very friendly membership, and the staff culture is synonymous.
Promoting and coordinating group outings, and events for members and guests Drafting, monitoring, evaluation, and management of the Food & Beverage Budget Track cover counts and year-over-year key performance indicators.
Skills:
Level one Sommelier certification desirable or a passion for wine Competent with wine, spirits, and craft cocktails Employs positive team building culture.
Experience /
Qualifications:
Former Food & Beverage Manager or Clubhouse Management experience Active or wanting to be active with CMAA - Club Management Association of America Compensation and

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
