From your PASSION to oursTo provide leadership and direction to the sales effort for LUSA exports.
Sales include all branded products produced in the US and sold to Lactalis affiliates around the World.
This will include the development & management of sales strategy, marketing strategy, budgets, reporting, and the selection and motivation of the staff that includes import staff (not responsible for import sales).
Position responsibilities also include working closely with the domestic sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
Primary sales are internal (sold to Lactalis affiliates in other countries) and some volumes pertain to external sales (when Lactalis subsidiary is not present in the country being sold).
This cross-territorial initiative will require the individual to work in close relationships with General Managers and Regional Sales / Marketing Managers of Lactalis subsidiaries across the globe.
From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include:
Direct and manage the Export Sales & Marketing team and Import sales administration team.
Works closely with the Vice President of Export Sales to develop and implement sales strategy to accommodate corporate goals and objectives for export sales in retail and food service.
Develop Lactalis brands and products, by defining the marketing and commercial strategies together with the sales directors and managers, in full respect of the groups policies, guidelines, and priorities in coordination with the Brand manager for worldwide initiatives.
Understand the local needs of each country and support their sales teams in reaching their volumes and contribution targets.
Develop annual LUSA export budget in coordination with subsidiaries, local management control teams, and VP of Export Sales.
Responsible for the LUSA Export P&L.
Provide precise P&L analysis, by zone, of all sales in the Export channel.
Coordinate the management of milk futures & secure coverage of the milk futures in coordination with the Finance team.
Provide US market intelligence/trends to Lactalis global partners.
Communicate with subsidiaries on LUSA innovations.
Recommend or provide appropriate logistical solutions (optimized route/air and ocean options).
Facilitate resolution of logistical and quality issues by communicating with appropriate departments (Supply Chain/ Quality / Manufacturing).
Attend trade shows to support/facilitate contacts with Export customers and grow business.
Coach and Mentor key personnel in the processes and drive consistent alignment across the entire team.
Travel and/or extended or off-work hours may be required.

Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the LUSA Export / Import team in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
RequirementsFrom your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
EducationIncumbent shall possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree from a four-year college or University.
A business degree is preferred.
Experience 10
years of Management experience required.
An export sales background is very much preferred.
15
years of sales experience required.
Experience in the Food Industry preferred.
Specialized KnowledgeOne should have strong communication, leadership, organizational, and computer skills.
One must have a working knowledge of marketing/sales and customer relationships.
Skills / Abilities Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
One must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
One must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales personnel, clients & customers of various cultural backgrounds.
Being proficient in French and Spanish Languages is a bonus.
One must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Must be able to perform detailed analysis of statistical information from various sources and synthesize information to draw conclusions and develop recommendations for action from superiors and subordinates.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
