RN - Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health
A healthcare organization in Western New York is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff at one of the inpatient psychiatric facilities in Buffalo and working with the Child & Adolescent population.
In this role, the Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing professional nursing services appropriate to inpatients receiving psychiatric services.
Responsibilities:
The Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health Nurse (RN) will:
Assess the patients' physical needs Administer medication Admit, discharge, and transfer patients based on Physician orders Assist with procedures and physical exams Record appropriate progress notes and other data into the patients' medical record Draw blood, collect vital signs, etc.
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
1
year of Clinical experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification Prior experience working with the Adolescent and Pediatric population Desired Skills:
Prior experience working in a Mental Health setting Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Medical Records Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
