About the Position:
We are presently seeking Trouble Mechanic C-Hot Sticks for an opening in our Buffalo location.
In addition to a starting wage of $56.

Under direct supervision, on a shift, to perform work in the field necessary for the location and permanent repair, where possible, of all types of trouble on the distribution and sub-transmission system including that involved in the most complicated and congested types of construction, including that which may require the use of a complete set of hot line tools, and do switching.
To perform uncomplicated, make ready work for telephone and CATV (maximum 1/0 triplex), install or remove single phase service (critical to customer), install and remove street light fixtures (burned out heads, non-routine) in critical areas during off hours.
Under general supervision, on a shift, occasionally and in emergencies to perform work in the field necessary for the location and correction of all simpler types of trouble on the distribution system.

Qualifications:
Must have occupied the position of Line Mechanic-Hot Stick or five years of equivalent Journeyman overhead lineman distribution experience.
Must pass physical abilities exam.
Must pass validated aptitude test.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have a valid drivers license Must have a CDL A Note:
External candidates hired into the Western Division Trouble Dept as a Trouble Mechanic C or D-Hot Stick will be required to remain in the western division trouble dept for a period of three (3) years.
Management reserves the right to make exceptions to this requirement Salary:
Hourly/$56.
