8K a year What to Expect As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible to build and manage the Quality Operations team, leading our quality culture in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Your proven record of driving improvements and agility in responding to quality excursions will enable you to set the tone for the rest of the team.
In addition, your strong collaborative skills will allow you to bring cross functional teams together to efficiently solve complex problems.
Your presence will bring structure to the team and bring the best performance out of each of your direct reports.
What You'll Do Manage, mentor, and lead a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors Be accountable for delivering quality improvements, methods, and coaching Delegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of quality technicians and inspectors Provide coaching and training to technicians and inspectors Escalate quality issues with management and engineering as needed.
Drive improvements in quality operation Develop training programs and hiring plans for team members Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking Assist quality technicians and inspectors with in-line decision making Provide regular reports & updates to quality team and management Assist in management of material disposition Enforce 5S and workplace hygiene standards What You'll Bring Must understand general manufacturing processes, Quality methodologies, and team leadership Must demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire to learn.
Must be adaptable in work schedule (including compressed work week and night shift) and the working environment Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinates Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information Multitasks and adapts to constant change Able to use Microsoft Office software Able to wear all required PPE associated with required tasks Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10
hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, Lift at least 10-20 lbs.
on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, Ability to climb ladders/stairs, Work in a loud environment.
Must be able to discern audible alarms, must be able to distinguish colors and possess accurate depth perception Applicable documented Training and/or Certifications a plus Strong aptitude with electronic and mechanic test and measurements systems Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagram Ability to use technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
