Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping products, and managing inventory levels.
Lead, motivate and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that all team members are trained, equipped, and accountable for their responsibilities.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities and ensure adherence to all established policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, track inventory movements, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including proper documentation and adherence to shipping/receiving schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, equipment, and personnel, using appropriate software tools.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and increase productivity.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
5
years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Experience in a high-volume environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and WMS software.
