Buffalo, NY Buffalo, NY Full-time Full-time From $90,000 a year From $90,000 a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago We are looking for an Inventory Control Manager with a strong manufacturing background to provide leadership in materials management, with focus on improving material flow, inventory accuracy, inventory turns and internal/external customer one time delivery.

Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree in a related field 3-5 years of relevant experience Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for all aspects of the warehouse to include, training and development of team, performance management, team strategy and regular and effective communication.
Establish and maintain performance metrics to drive results of team Work with Purchasing to develop optimal inventory stocking requirements based on available space and establish inventory layout to support requirements.
Determine inventory movement and storage equipment necessary to support inventory layout.
Lead the cycle count process; ensuring counts are being done on time.
Establish product popularity code for each part number to support the cycle count process Reconcile count variances and lead the process for improving cycle count accuracy Document standard work processes, and Train, supervise, and lead the warehouse team in day-to-day activities.
Lead lean activities to improve material movement, storage and replenishment.
Manage and supervise daily work activities in warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
Coordinate with the Purchasing group to ensure proper procurement and distribution of the inventory.
Develop process for evaluating logistics partners.
Determine time cycle for re-evaluation of logistics partners.
Develop metric that identifies inventory that is trending to slow moving.
Create work instruction for actions required when product is identified as slow moving.
Develop process for 100% on time and 100% accurate work order kitting.
Work with to identify inventory reduction initiatives with suppliers to improve inventory turns and reduce space requirements.
Modify and monitor layout of warehouse to improve flow and efficiency Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
