Summary:
The HR Manager applies business knowledge and human resources expertise to provide a wide range of HR support and guidance.
The HR Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day business operations of the organization as it relates to compliance, recruitment, onboarding, terminations, performance management, employee relations, culture and HR best practices, while facilitating a positive relationship between management and employees.
Essential Functions:
Implements and administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; prepares and maintains employee handbook, creates and maintains job descriptions, monitors standard operating procedures for all staff Creates and monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary Develops and maintains records, reports, and logs for federal and state regulation such as I9 forms, EEO forms, Employee Confidentiality Agreements and Applications, Paid Family Leave waivers, Harassment Training compliance, etc.
Maintains all employee files, and assists with file audits as requested Handles and advises on employee relations and exit interviews, conducts initial investigations, and handles staff-related issues and concerns Maintains Paylocity payroll and HRIS system including, but not limited to any status changes, i.
e.

position, pay rate, district, etc.
Maintains HR metrics, data, SOP's and reports Supports benefits administration for eligible Just for Kids employees Actively participates as a team member of the Just for Kids HR department, including helping with and/or planning and facilitating new employee onboarding, orientations, trainings, retention initiatives, etc.

Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, or related field 3-5 years' experience in a management role PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certified We're looking for an individual with these qualities:
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and follow up on outstanding issues Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Proficient in HRIS and Paylocity payroll platforms Strong verbal and written communications skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Salary Description $56,000 - $60,000 per year Recommended Skills Auditing Communication Confidentiality Diplomacy Hardworking And Dedicated Human Resources Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
