Summary:
The Family Peer Support Specialist helps families who are raising a child, that is experiencing mental health and/or behavioral challenges.
This includes providing support, information, education, and skill development; while building support for their child's needs to promote growth and achieve family goals.

Pay and benefits
3 weeks of paid time off your first year, not including an additional 13 agency holidays.

Minimum Education and/or Professional Qualifications/Skills
Applicant must have personal experience raising a child, or someone else's child, with a mental health or behavioral challenge.
During that time you must have used several systems like SPOA, counseling, care management, psychiatric in-patient, and/or Family Peer Support or other Child and Family Treatment Support Services to assist that child.
Preference given to those with a FPA credential or CPRA credential with Family Specialty(required)
A high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential (e.
g.
SACC or CDOS).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
