Silver Tree Residential is looking for dependable, quality focused, maintenance professionals to join our progressively growing team.
We are seeking both Director level and Technician level candidates for our SENIOR apartment complex in Buffalo.
We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.
Summary of Requirements:
-Working with upper management & directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
-Advising the Community Director of maintenance problems and of programs designed to solve them.
-Inspecting, scheduling, and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
-Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
-Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
-Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators.
Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
-Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
-Establishing daily work schedules for his/her staff (if any) and monitoring their production, efficiency and the materials used.
-Knowing current condition of all vacancies.
-Participating in the hiring of maintenance personnel.
-Holding classes for the maintenance staff (if any), as needed, to improve their efficiency.
-Keeping accurate and up-to-date inventory of tools and supplies.
-Maintaining a clean, orderly, secure workshop.
-Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
-A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is required.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience.
It is essential that the Maintenance staff report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
