General Maintenance Laborer

Job Description Creating Employment for People with Disabilities is Our Mission! Are you a person that loves to take care of a facility? Do you have skills to fix things such as small repairs and light plumbing? Do you have a driver's license? We need a general maintenance person that can take care of our federal contract.
This person must have a disability, as required by our federal contract and mission.
Requirements
Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repair, such as:


Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors,
Repair walls & ceilings
General plumbing repairs.

Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.

Hanging and installing doors, windows, and locks.

Perform assigned preventive maintenance and repairs.

Generate proposals or quotes for repairs and services.

Assist in grounds maintenance activities.

Assist in janitorial services activities.
Requirements:

S.
in building construction technology or a closely-related field and 3-5 years of general building maintenance and repair activities or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with MS Office products.

Must have a valid Drivers License and maintain a driving record in accordance with Human Technologies Liability/Automotive Insurance carrier.

Must be physically capable of performing all assigned tasks, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 30 pounds, and extended periods of walking and standing.
Recommended Skills Automotive Industry Communication Maintenance Microsoft Office Plumbing Preventive Maintenance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
