The Arc Erie County is looking for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher!Who we are:
A local non-profit organization that supports children & adults with disabilities and their families in achieving their desired quality of life by creating opportunities through comprehensive quality services!What you'll be doing:
As our Adaptive Physical Education Teacher in our Maryvale School Age program, you will be planning & implementing adaptive physical education programs (including swimming sessions) for students with developmental disabilities within the education program.
You will be responsible for Preparing detailed lesson plans 1 week in advance of implementation Communicating w/ parents regarding progress of respective children Participating in in-service trainings & ad hoc committee meetings What we need from you:
Bachelor or master's degree ANDPermanent or Initial New York State Certification in Physical Education/Adaptive Phys.
Ed.
ANDCurrently certified in Multimedia First Aid, or comparable, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation; Advanced Life SavingWhat The Arc Erie County can offer:
