Summary:
The CT Technologist works as a member of the CT team, reporting to the CT Manager.
This role provides CT based imaging to patients and supports the patient experience throughout their time at GLMI.
Effective communication between departments and exemplary patient care must be maintained.
This role performs a variety of tasks beyond CT imaging including; patient calls, documentation in charts, and assisting with both patient and other co-worker needs.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following Perform all CT procedures CR and DR x-ray procedures Interventional Radiology procedures under CT guidance Starting IV lines on patients using proper technique Communicates with patients regarding medical history, symptoms and explanation of procedures with associated documentation Enters data in Radiology Information System, assuring accuracy and completeness Verifies accuracy of orders prior to examining the patient Maintains a clean and orderly work area, provides quality control processes when necessary and ensures the safety of patients in the department Attends to the medical needs of patients at all times.
Maintains patient modesty at all times.
Helps fellow technologists when not busy with CT specific duties Restocks supplies and maintains a list of things to be ordered The responsibilities above are representative of necessary qualifications to perform this position.
Other duties may be assigned Overtime may be required, as needed Necessary Skills Operates standard imaging equipment including but not limited to:
CT Equipment Power injector PC Computer PACS/RIS Computer Qualifications Successful completion of an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology NYS Radiologic Technology License with Injection ARRT Certification in CT required, or within 1 year of start date in accordance with GLMI policy CPR Certification Physical and Mental Requirements May be asked to lift up to 50 pounds Standing, walking, sitting, keyboard use for long periods of time Ability to listen and communicate with patients face to face or over the phone Will be required to read, write, work in a fast-paced office setting Ability to make decisions and think quickly Must have mental and physical capabilities to perform all tasks listed above Recommended Skills Active Listening Business Process Improvement Cpr Communication Friendliness Health Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
