The Assistant to the President will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing administrative support to the President, preparing for monthly board meetings, and supervision of the Administrative Assistant.

Neighborhood Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
FQHCs are required to comply with the governor's recent mandate requiring hospital and nursing home workers to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
You will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination if an offer of employment is made.
The vaccine mandate applies to all personnel employed or affiliated with a covered entity, including volunteers and students.
Only a limited medical exemption remains for qualifying individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES Supports President and Chief Executive Officer (President) in the day-to-day operations of NHC to include by not limited to:
Making visitors feel welcome President phone calls Executive correspondence President's calendar, managing in person and remote calendar invitations Executive meeting and event preparation Site conference room on behalf of the President Supports President and management team in grant preparation, seeking and providing letters of support.
Supports President and VP Operations with agency vendor contact lists, contracts signatures, monitoring for complete versions and managing file.
Coordinates Board Meeting Minutes and Log of monthly board meeting minutes and packets Assists Board nominating committee chair with annual board nomination process.
Collaborates with HR on scheduling provider and key candidate for interviews with the President.
Oversees the maintenance of donor and supporters contact information in Bloomerang or similar software.
Creates, distributed and manages online Google survey, invitations and RSVPs on behalf of the President Achieves and maintains technical proficiency in virtual meeting platforms in support of scheduling and coordinating executive and other meetings Records meeting minutes for the President and Board as needed Emails training presentations from monthly All Staff Meetings to non-attendees Participation in agency fundraisers such as annual fundraiser as member of the Planning Committee and working at the event Coordinates Administrative inventory of keys Coordinates the distribution of the monthly employee anniversary acknowledgment from the President.
Prepares timecards of the direct reports of the President for President approval Supervises time & attendance, day-to-day functions and coordinates efforts within administration of the Administrative Assistants Liaison with Community Center building incident reports and building communication, etc.
Maintains NHC company credit card, tax exempt certificates and store bonus cards Makes NHC-sponsored reservations for staff's hotel rooms, conferences and flights Orders agency educational materials such as manuals, books Provides announcements to staff regarding and orders flowers for employees at times of childbirth or death of self, spouse, child or parent Obtains and maintains Notary Public Updates administrative forms such as Organizational Chart, Annual Report, etc.
Obtains fully-signed administrative agreements, scans and computer files Maintains agency original documents, contracts and scanned corporate documents Coordinates administrative filing cabinets Performs errands for meeting refreshments, key duplication, FedEx/US Post Office, printing pickup, etc.
Creates packets of administrative materials for President Provides backup coverage for administrative assistant Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS High School diploma post-High School graduation from a secretarial or business school preferred Minimum of three (3) years secretarial experience, one in an executive or managerial capacity, or a combination of education and experience Must be proficient in MS Office Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
