This highly critical, growing team is responsible for systems that manage extremely complex financial calculations and postings each month. These high-performance systems work with very large datasets and within very tight processing time constraints. This team manages a mixture of web applications as well as back-end batch processes. The successful candidate will:Work with business owners and users to document their requirementsAssist with architecting the overall solutionCreating functional and technical documentation as neededDesigning and developing the individual componentsPerform unit testing, and participate in cyclic QA testing and bugfixPerform ongoing Production support of the entire suite of applications, including occasional investigation and timely resolution of Production incidents both during and outside of business hoursMentor and lead On-call responsibility for critical issues Is this opportunity right for you? Summary: Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. Acts independently under general direction. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. May act as expert in business or functional area. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. May be responsible for multiple phases of a project. May have duties instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications systems analysis and programming personnel.
