Will work in Central Business Office at Williamsville location.
Position is 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, days.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Answers telephone calls from patients on a daily basis.
Tracks all incoming calls through Account Workqueue Tracks all telephone calls answered and reports on the resolution Report any patient complaints that require supervisor review and document in patient account Report any payment or coding issue to the supervisor workqueue and document in patient account Tracks complaint patterns, system issues and problems and report directly to Supervisor Obtains credit card payments verifying the transactions and documenting in the patients account Post payment and/or adjustments, as necessary.
Researches patient payments, requesting EOB's when necessary Edits all payments and adjustments when corrections are required Update any demographic and/or insurance information into the computer system.
E-Verify any new insurance and update effective dates Review in Healthenet or Passport for any insurance corrections Corrects all returned mail Follow-up with patient calls with resolution of patient issues Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
