Candidates will work under the direct supervision of highly qualified professionals (i.
e.
, BCBA, psychologists, teachers).
Daily responsibilities may include:
implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, helping conduct behavioral assessments, running lesson plans related to educational goals, data collection, and crisis support as needed.
Staff will work directly with students ages 13-21 who demonstrate severe behavior.
Support Teacher in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systems Assist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need Assist with home-school communication Provide crisis intervention for individuals Collect, organize, and maintain direct observational data within the classroom and treatment room setting.
Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines Assist students with hygiene and toileting tasks Adheres to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect Education:
High school or equivalent (required) RBT certification or certified-eligible (preferred but not required) Monday-Friday 8:
