5 Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Work Where You Can Make an IMPACT An Employment Specialist's primary responsibility is to provide person centered job development, training, advocacy and other supports for individuals working toward or have acquired paid employment in the community.
They provide direct support services to people with specific vocational support needs, creatively work with potential employers to build appropriate relations and create opportunities for successful employment for the people supported, provide on-site job coaching, complete reports and submit those reports for billing purposes on a timely basis, and maintain communication with involved individuals.
Must have a High school diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years applicable experience working with adults with disabilities, preferably in job training and employment settings, a valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation.
