Act as the business liaison with subject matter experts to build the data-driven foundation which powers business decisions at PDI, from executive-level strategy to day-to-day operational execution.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics.
Through turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions, PDI will be able to make data-driven decisions to achieve the organizations goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree - preference in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or Accounting.

years proven working experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Relational Databases, SQL, Excel, Tableau and ERP system.
Intermediate to advanced skills in report development, queries, views, functions, and stored procedures using SQL, Excel, Tableau and ERP system, preferably Sage X3.
Crystal report experience a plus but not required.
ERP Business Intelligence software experience a plus, but not required Job Requirements:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Good understanding of organizational goals and objectives Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Self-motivated and directed, with strong business acumen.
Solid understanding of accounting, manufacturing, distribution, inventory, and supply chain functions.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with minimum supervision.
Able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work with Business Analyst to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct discrepancies.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data related to inventory, operations and finance.
Provide summarized reports to management.
Work with key personnel to develop systems to report KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
Provide analysis, reports, dashboards, and insight of data supporting existing and new initiatives.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify data improvements for enhanced analysis and reporting supported via documentation Ensure data collection processes are consistent, repeatable, and appropriate throughout the organization.
In conjunction with Business Analyst, implement SDA (Sage Data and Analytics) to drive self-serve and data literacy:
democratize data by building and socializing decision tools (dashboards, reports); build key data sets/pipelines to empower operational and exploratory analysis Work with cross-functional teams to identify data improvements for enhanced analysis and reporting supported via documentation Work with manager to prioritize business and information needs.
Pull data and provide analysis in accordance with these needs Prepare reports as needed stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data Quick Apply.
