Hardware Inventory Management group within ITS End User Services (EUS) is seeking Student Interns for assisting with the management of IT hardware equipment. The positions will assist with the following:
o Handling ITS hardware asset inventory, including the maintenance of hardware inventory system data. o Participation in the annual Physical Inventory, tagging, storage and disposal of ITS equipment.

From $25.50 to $25.50 Hourly

Qualifications:
o Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State. o Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program. o Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
