What you will be doing:

Perform sonography scan and document information in an electronic medical record system for Provider review.

Verify patient orders and information.

Enter CPT codes for accurate billing.

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, in accordance with internal and legal regulations.

Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive patient experience across the organization.

Perform other duties assigned by management.
The education and experience you need:

Associate degree in sonography

Active New York State License

Compassion and excellent patient care

Prior knowledge of CPT codes preferred.

Experience with an EMR, preferably Medent
The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay, several factors will be considered including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
