- Looking for a cloud migration project manager.
Must have:
- Enterprise Cloud Business Office and is responsible for all on-premises to cloud migrations.
- Focus should be on candidates with strong 10
years of Senior Project Management. - Candidates should come from an Enterprise-size client base where they have run large $6-10+mil programs with structured oversight around planning and executing projects.
- Needs more focus on core project management competencies to drive execution and create a better organization around reporting, tracking and metrics within the portfolio.
- They should be able to speak to project planning.
- Charters and project scopes and how they have been part of project committees when planning projects.
- They must be comfortable with a hands-on approach and getting in-depth on their projects to ensure they are running effectively.
- Ideal candidates will have supported both IT and Business projects.
- Avoid Infrastructure focused PMs as the biggest gaps has falls on their application side.
- Candidates who have supported platform migration projects, windows migrations or other projects that touch large application suites will have the background they are looking for.
- Exposure to Agile environments is great but a comfort level still managing projects in a waterfall fashion is a must due to the level of maturity have in their agile journey.
- A PM who wants to solely work in an agile environment will NOT be happy in this role.
- Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to speak to their roles on successful project teams from start to completion.
- Role is highly visible and candidates will need to be comfortable working a hybrid schedule to come on site.
Nice to haves:
- Cloud exposure.
- Understanding of pipelines, CI/CD and or migration projects.
- Experience with Jira
- Banking of Fin Services background.
Education and experience preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
- Masters degree.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
