Compliance Manager
MJ Peterson, a full-service real estate company, has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist. The ideal candidate would be a detail oriented individual accustomed to working on a deadline driven schedule. This position will report to the Director of Affordable Housing.Responsibilities of the Compliance Manager o Monitoring and implementing changes in HUD and LITHC regulations and requirementso Maintaining proper maintenance of tenant files and computer records to ensure accuracy according to HUD and LIHTC regulationso Determining financial eligibility for all new admissions into the affordable programProcessing new applicantso Monitoring of waitlists, and EIV master binders for compliance with federal regulations and requirementso Assist and review all 8823s corrections and correspondenceo Monitoring of re-certification notification letters in compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulationso Perform training programs to educate and inform the site teams of requirements and responsibilitieso Remain familiar with current U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ever changing Federal Regulations as they relate to Affordable Housing programso 3-5 years experience with Project Based Section 8 HUD, LIHTC and other affordable housing program complianceo Knowledge of HUD 4350.3, EIV, Reasonable Accommodation Requests, LIHTC income limits and rent calculations, Fair Housing, Real Estate Licensingo A deep sense of community awareness and a determination to make improvementso COS certification minimum required, HCCP preferredYardi experience a plusWould consider hybrid work schedule based on experienceJob Full-time From $75,000.00-$85,000 (negotiable BOE) per year
